A person in crisis is experiencing a period with overwhelming difficulty, trouble, or danger. While this does not always imply that a person has suicidal thoughts, a person experiencing a mental health crisis may have feelings, thoughts, or behaviours that may lead them to hurt themselves/others or be unable to care for themselves.
